So, we've posted our big breakout products this year, and Videoguys have likewise followed suit, hooking us up with
their top 10 products of the year. Making the list, some of our favs, and some of our enemies. Top billing
goes to the FireStore FS-4. Good choice, good choice indeed. Surprising entrys into the top 10?
Avid's Liquid 7 coming in at number two. I can dig it for all of its new flava, and all the good feelings towards
its all-in-one-ness. Surprisingly, TriCaster was a top-10 item. I don't mean to flame anyone, but honestly,
if I want a real live-video production box, I'm going BroadcastPix, not
TriCaster. BroadcastPix is amazing to me, while TriCaster seems like more of the same stuff from NewTek.
Whatevs though, I don't hate-em for trying.Top Ten Products from Videoguys

1. Thanx for your comments on our Top 10 list.
FireStore FS-4 is amazing, for videographers of all levels. The More you shoot and edit, the more valuable the FS-4 becomes!
I've checked out BroadcastPix and it is quite impressive, but it's also WAY more expensive than TriCaster. For the money (only $5K), TriCaster gets our vote. It's not the best solution, it's the best solution for under $10K!!
Avid Liquid - I've been a big fan of the Liquid technology going back to my first backroom demo from a couple of German guys from Fast. Once again, this is a value pick. For the money, it offers a great feature set and for many folks, the integration is a major feature as well.
Happy New Year to everyone at DV Guru. I really like your site, articles and blog. Keep up the great work!
